Delete Your Account & Data

How to delete your thermotrack.io account, exactly what is permanently removed, what we are legally required to retain, and for how long.

How to delete your account

Account deletion is initiated from within the thermotrack.io app — this confirms it's really you before anything is removed.

  1. Open the thermotrack.io app (or the web app at app.thermotrack.io) and sign in.
  2. Go to Account → Delete Account.
  3. Confirm the request. You'll receive an email acknowledging it, and written confirmation once deletion is complete.

Signed in already? Go straight to the deletion screen in the web app.

No longer have the app installed? Email us from the address associated with your account at hello@thermotrack.io and we'll process the deletion for you.

What is deleted vs. retained

Permanently deleted

  • Your account profile — name, email address and login credentials
  • All temperature & humidity readings and historical sensor data
  • Your devices, gateways, zones and work schedules configuration
  • Alert rules, alert history and notification settings
  • AI insight reports generated for your account
  • Any shared access tokens issued to third parties (immediately revoked)
  • Team invitations and role assignments you created

Retained (and why)

  • Billing & invoice records — kept to meet tax/accounting law. After deletion they can no longer be linked back to your identity.
  • Encrypted backups — your data ages out of routine backups as they cycle.
  • Anonymised, aggregate statistics — contain no personal data and cannot identify you.
